The coil head screws into the base of the airflow controller like a standard clearo. The head has a 2.6 mm chimney and four wicking slots, measuring about 1.6 mm x 3.6 mm. Of note, the coil inside the head is installed horizontally. I’m not sure why this is, but I’ve found the coil does best with high PG below 50 VG.

The performance from the Q16 Pro Kit has left me wanting, despite it having a fairly quick ramp, a smooth airflow, and a great MTL draw. I can dial in a mouth-to-lung hit from loose to super tight, and I get a solid throat hit when using high PG juices. On the other hand, even with 50/50 juices (which most nic salts are), they simply don’t have much flavor in the Q16. Granted, there were no bad hiccups like spitback, leaking, flooding or dry hits. It’s just that the flavor is lackluster. Even with high PG juices performing better than 50/50 juices, I still found the flavor to be just average.
